Q: What should I do if the water valve inlet keeps leaking?
Tighten the connection between the timer and the tap.
A filter and seal for the water inlet is essential. Check that the seal at the water inlet is fitted before connecting the tap.
Mount the timer vertically on the floor to avoid damage to the inside of the unit. (We do not recommend using it at an angle, even horizontally, as this may damage the internal valves and cause leaks.
Q: What should I do if the valve cannot be opened/closed?
The batteries are low and cannot drive the valve body. Need to replace with brand new 2* AAA alkaline batteries.
You can restart the valve by following the steps below and the appliance will be ready for normal use.
Insert the batteries and tighten the timer on the faucet.
Keep the tap turned off and turn the dial on the timer to ON.
Press and hold the OK button for 3-5 seconds to manually open the valve in the timer.
Press and hold the OK button for 3-5 seconds to manually open the valve inside the timer, then press and hold for another 3-5 seconds to close the valve.
Repeat step 3, 3 to 5 times.
Turn on the tap, press and hold the OK button for 3-5 seconds and open the valve manually again.
Open the valve manually again and check that everything is OK.
Then press and hold the button again for 3-5 seconds and turn it off manually.
If you still can't turn off the timer properly, repeat steps 3-4 several times (10 times)
Clean the inlet screen of impurities and restart the valve according to the above steps.
Press and hold the OK button to open the valve manually to check that it opens/closes properly.
Turn the knob to the off button to check if the valve can be closed.
Q: What if there is water mist in the screen of the timer?
The temperature difference between the inside and outside of the device is too big, it will return to normal after a period of time and will not affect the normal operation of the device.
Q:What if the screen is black and cannot be displayed?
Strong direct sunlight will affect the service life of the product. If you find that the screen does not display under strong sunlight, you can put the timer back into a cool and dry indoor environment for about 4 hours, and it will return to normal.
Q: Manual watering times are not adjustable?
Currently the program only allows watering for 10 minutes by default. This setting is to avoid leaks caused by misuse and will be optimised and updated in subsequent products.
Q: Is the rainfall delay time not adjustable?
The product does not currently support the setting of rain delay function, but this will be optimised in subsequent products.
Q: I don't know how to turn off the irrigation schedule?
If you don't want the schedule to continue, turn the knob to the OFF page and the schedule will not run on time and the valve will not open.
If you just want to turn off the irrigation schedule and continue using the unit, turn the knob to the HOW LONG page and set the duration to 00, then the schedule will not run and the knob can be set to ON to perform manual irrigation operations.
Q: Not sure if HOW OFTEN has been set?
After setting the HOW OFTEN parameter, select the knob to another page and switch back to HOW OFTEN. If the parameter set is the day of the week, the week column of the current page will flash; if the parameter set is the number of days between, the number of days will flash.
Q: What should I do if I have set a schedule but it is not executed on time?
Rotate to the set clock page and adjust the time to the correct time and date (note the 12/24 time system), then set the START TIME to the desired time.
After setting the schedule, turn the knob to the ON page and wait for the irrigation schedule to be executed.
The default schedule does not run when HOW LONG is set to 0, so check the HOW LONG parameter setting when setting the irrigation schedule.
Check that the HOW OFTEN page is set to the time the schedule needs to be on.
The product can be set up with three irrigation schedules and if the START TIME of the three schedules overlap, only one schedule will be executed.
Check the battery level. If the device is low, it will go into low battery protection and the schedule will not run.
Q: What should I do if the water pressure is too low?
Install a booster pump or other method of increasing the pressure, the product itself does not have a pressurisation function.
Q: Little or no water coming out?
Clean the impurities from the timer filter.
Make sure the appliance valve is in the open position.
Open the hose tap.
Q: What is wrong with batteries that always die easily?
Replace the batteries with new alkaline batteries, do not mix old and new batteries, and do not mix carbon alkaline batteries.
The aging and rusting of the poles in the battery compartment will cause the battery to run out of power too quickly. Take care to remove the battery when the device is not used for a long time to avoid battery leakage.
