Wi-Fi Gateway Troubleshooting

1. The Gateway Cannot Connect to the Network / Gateway Is Disconnected or Offline

Solution:

  • Verify that the Wi-Fi password has been entered correctly.

  • During setup, keep the gateway and the smartphone close to the Wi-Fi router.

  • Verify that the Wi-Fi router is functioning properly. If there was a power outage, ensure the router has restarted correctly, then reconnect the gateway by following the connection steps in this manual.

  • Check the Wi-Fi signal strength. If the distance between the gateway and the router is too great, move the gateway closer to improve connection stability.

2. The Gateway Button Is Unresponsive

Solution:

  • Contact customer support for assistance.

Wi-Fi Timer Troubleshooting

1. Unable to Open the Valve

Possible Cause:

  • Low battery

  • Debris in the inlet or filter

  • Unstable network or response delay

Solution:

  • Replace the batteries with new ones.

  • Clean the inlet/filter regularly to remove debris and prevent interference.

  • Wait a moment and then try opening the valve again.

2. Flow Meter Reading Is Inaccurate

Possible Cause:

  • Timer is installed at an angle, causing inaccurate measurement

  • Low or unstable water pressure from the faucet

Solution:

  • Install the water timer vertically. Do not install it at an angle, as this may affect the water volume measurement.

  • The normal measurement error for water usage is ±5%.

3. Timer Cannot Connect

Possible Cause:

  • Wi-Fi network is unstable

  • The timer is too far from the gateway

  • The timer is not in pairing mode

Solution:

  • Check that the Wi-Fi network is functioning properly.

  • During connection, keep the timer close to the gateway and router.

  • Re-pair the timer: press and hold the timer button until the red LED flashes rapidly to enter pairing mode (or remove the device from the home screen in the app and reconnect it).

4. Not Executing as Scheduled

Possible Cause:

  • Impurities in the water have entered the filter

  • Rain delay has been set

  • In low-power conditions, the timer may enter protection mode and stop running schedules

Solution:

  • Clean the inlet/filter regularly to prevent clogging and interference with the irrigation program.

  • Check whether rain delay has been set.

  • Replace the batteries with new ones.
