Installation issue

There is a very small gap between the timer inlet and my faucet. Is the specification wrong or is it a defect?

Kindly note there would be a small different for different factories even the same specification. Hence, we sincerely suggest you can wrap some teflon taps on the faucet before installation. For more support, please feel free to contact our customer service team.

Moreover, it is a hose end water meter. It would be better if you can install it in the hose end.

leaking issue

There is frogs inside the screen and I cannot check the numbers.

Sorry for the bother. Normally, if the outside temperature is different from the inner temperature of the screen, it will easily have frogs inside the screen. But the frogs will be disappeared when the temperature is the same or gets very close. But if there is a lot of water inside your screen and cause the blank screen issue, please take some photos to show the issue and send to service@rainpointus.com. Our customer service team will offer further support for it.

We have reported this issue to our technical and they are testing if there is a new mold helps. I am sure in the no long future, we can figure out this issue.

Water spray from the body of my water meter. Can it be fixed?

We are so sorry for bother. It sounds like the inner mold is damaged. This issue happens sometimes during the shipping or the timer was hit. please take some photos to show the issue and send to service@rainpointus.com. Our customer service team will offer further support for it.

screen issue

Numbers are lack of part and I have no idea what exactly it is.

We are so sorry for the inconvenience. Would you please check as below trouble shooting first?

1. Please try to exchange the coin batteries and check if it works great. If the batteries are running out of power, the screen will show numbers lack of parts.

2.Please let know if the water keeps running or not. The timer will enter rest mode if there is no water come through it for more than 33 seconds.

If all above trouble shooting is good. But the issue still exist, please take some photos to show the issue and contact service@rainpointus.com for further support.

The water meter is good for the beginning. But the screen suddenly shows nothing. I have no idea what is going on.

1. Please make sure the screen is not under strong sunshine. If the water meter is under strong sunshine, it happens that we cannot check the numbers very clearly. But it will be good if you check it under shadow.

Program and setting issue

The meter measure the wrong water consumption. Is it a way I can collaborate it?

Sorry for the inconvenience. To get the accurate data, please make sure

1. water meter must be filled with water. If the water meter is only half filled, the data will not be accurate.

2. check if the water meter is stuck by something.

3. check if you switch to the right unit you want.

4. check if the coin battereis are in good condition.

If you are sure that everything is good but the issue still exist, please contact service@rainpointus.com for further support.

The water meter stop to record the water consumption.

Please try to repower the water meter and try again. The water meter might be stuck for some reason. If it cannot be solved, please email to service@rainpointus.com for further support.
